1. Purpose of This Agreement

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which Image Concepts grants administrative access to a client’s website backend. By signing this document, the client acknowledges the risks and assumes responsibility for any actions taken post-access.

2. Acknowledgement of Responsibility

Once admin access is granted:

  • The client assumes full responsibility for changes, updates, deletions, or other actions performed on the website.
  • Image Concepts cannot be held liable for any issues arising from changes made by the client or their representatives.

3. Limitations of Liability

Image Concepts shall not be responsible for:

  • Website downtime or errors resulting from plugin or theme modifications.
  • Data loss caused by manual errors or third-party software.
  • Cyber attacks due to weak passwords or lack of security protocols.
  • SEO performance drops from changes to metadata, URL structures, or indexed content.

4. Security Protocols

The client agrees to:

  • Use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication where possible.
  • Avoid sharing login credentials outside of trusted personnel.
  • Refrain from installing unvetted plugins or themes from untrusted sources.

5. Restrictions

Clients must not:

  • Modify core WordPress, theme or plugin files unless qualified and backed up
  • Alter hosting/server settings (if managed by Image Concepts) without consent.
  • Disable caching, backups, or essential security settings.

6. Backups

If the client is not subscribed to an Image Concepts maintenance plan, they are solely responsible for ensuring regular backups are in place.

7. Support & Charges

Support requests related to errors caused by client-side changes may be charged at the current hourly support rate.

Image Concepts reserves the right to refuse support for repeatedly compromised websites or security breaches due to negligence.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By signing below, the client confirms:

  • They understand the risks and responsibilities of having admin access.
  • They agree to abide by the security protocols and limitations set out above.
